Delegating Effectively

Being able to delegate is an essential skill of any director, manager or team leader. This interactive programme aims to give you the what, the why and the how of delegation.

The course takes place entirely online, using Moodle, working with a small group of participants. Expert coaches from The Learning Corporation facilitate the course.

• What is delegation?
• What are the benefits of delegation?
• What does excellent delegation look like?
• The four stages of delegation: planning what to delegate, getting buy-in, agreeing a win-win framework and maintaining motivation
• Throughout the course you will be asked to keep a learning log
• Each course will develop a collaborative wiki of practical tips for delegation

The course demonstrates the highest standards of online learning, using a range of activities and resources. An important part of the course is engaging with the other participants to share experiences and support each other’s learning.
